Last day of school for the children and Amanda, Harley also had his last day at work today for 10 days so everyone is on holidays now!!! Pam, Luke and I decided it would be a good day to get our Christmas shopping done before the crowds descend on New York. As luck would have it, it rained all day, sometimes lots, sometimes just a mist. We walked the kids to school then got a yellow taxi down to Times Square. We went into every second shop between Times Square and 34 Street. Quite exhausted. Pam and I left Luke in town after lunch at Macy's, we got the subway home, went and walked the two young ones home from school (William made his own way home - he usually goes down to walk the young ones back but we were home in time today to relieve him of those duties), bought donuts and coffee on the way home, turned the Big Bash on and relaxed with beer and wine. Harley and Amanda escaped to go out for tea and watch a movie, Luke went to the Met (Metropolitan Museum of Art), Pam and I were left looking after those gorgeous grandchildren and we're not sure when we will see those older children!!??
Not many photos today - unless you wanted to see the inside of Macys, Nike store, NBA store or several shoe shops!
