Getting ready

17th December 2018
All systems go, the bags are getting packed and we leave in the morning and go to the airport to fly out at 11.55am to New York to spend Christmas with the family.  Luke left this morning, he has a layover of about 12 hours in Seoul and gets in at about lunch time tomorrow, we will follow him into NYC about 6 hours later.  Chris and Emily leave on the 22nd December and get back on the 1st January (just a short trip).  Pam, Luke and I get back on the 9th January.   We will be staying with Harley, Amanda, William, Elliott and Felicity in Manhattan.  We will be a little cosy in their 3 bedroom apartment....should be a great Christmas!!!!!
We haven't got too many plans, there is a Christmas Concert by Felicitys class on the 19th December and maybe a visit to Elliotts class on the 20th December.  We all go on an overnight trip to Niagara Falls on the 27th/28th December.  Luke, Chris and Emily are going to a Knicks/Bucks NBA game at Madison Square Garden at midday on Christmas Day and we have booked a restaurant for Christmas dinner on Christmas Day.  There will be a traditional Holcombe Cocktail Evening on Christmas Eve.
Amanda also has a list a mile long of things we HAVE to do.....we'll see how we go.
