Day 2 - school and Empire State

Not a late night last night, couple of beers, some pizza and lots of talking.  We all slept very well and woke up about 7am.  Amanda leaves for work at 6 so we missed her.  We had to rush to walk the children to school because we had to put on a huge amount of clothes to cope with the cold, zero degrees when we walked out the door.  William walked across the road to school and we walked the other two to their school.  We stayed to watch a Hip-Hop concert by Felicity's grade 3 class then did some activities in her class room.  Very interesting.  Pam, Luke and I then headed into the centre of the city, had lunch at a sports bar then went to the top of the Empire State Building.  Weather was fine and sunny, just a little cool, not much wind so we managed quite well.  We were supposed to be back in time to walk Elliott and Felicity home, we were running late so we messaged William and he walked down to meet them, we caught up with them about half way home, called in to Dunkin Donuts for smoko then home.  We are really exhausted, due in no small part to the long flights yesterday.  Hoping for a quiet night.
