Interesting day today - it all started yesterday when Chris woke up feeling terrible with flu/sinus/headache symptoms. He battled on and collapsed into bed early feeling even worse. I started getting symptoms about 5pm and went down fast, coughing, sweats, aches and pains, not much sleep for me and I think even less for Pam. Chris woke up marginally better but he needed a slow day because he and Emily are flying out at 6pm. I was on my death bed all night so we decided a doctors visit was on the cards. Amanda directed us to her doctor and it turns out I have both ears infected. Got some drugs and hopefully will feel better tomorrow.
Harley, Luke, Emily and the grandkids did a bike ride in Central Park, they had a great time exploring with plenty of fierce competition. Elliott informs me he won the silver medal, with William leading the charge. Elliott said the hills did him in. The circuit of the bike path around the park is 10 kilometres so the children will sleep well tonight.
Pam and Luke escorted Chris and Emily to the airport at 3pm, very sad to see them go, it's been a wonderful family Christmas, not sure when we'll be all together again.
Not many photos today, Luke sent me a heap of the bike adventure so I'm just going to include them all.....sorry.
