What a long flight!!! It's only when we get there do we realise how much it is worth it. After 14hrs LAX is an interesting experience, we had 3 hours to transfer to our flight, through border control, customs and then through security screening meant we got to our gate to NYC as they were announcing boarding, not even time for coffee!!!
Arrived on time at NYC and it's 2 degrees. Harley, Amanda, William, Elliott and Felicity met us and we got the Subway to their apartment where we met Luke who had arrived about 6 hours before us.
We are all very exhausted and ready for a long sleep.
